Where is the Atomic Clock located?
This thing sets my bedside alarm clock. How does it figure out who is on Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific time?
Fort Collins, Colorado. The manufacturer usually sets a “default” time zon into the clock-usually Eastern. Elsewise, zones are set by the delivery area. If the batch of clocks is going to Arkansas, they are set to Central, etc. Elsewise, some clocks have a transmitter which, when the clock is activated, sends a signal to Ft. Collins which automatically sets the time in your clock.
