The video distribution over CAT5 and Cat7: What you should know about the distribution of video over Cat5 or Cat7

When thinking about the configuration your home video system, this means you need to know something about the distribution of video over CAT5 and is the type Cat7 system for providing performance optimal. This also means that now may find its origin from a remote display device, television or monitor.

There are three (3) Main types of video distribution system:
1) or baseband analog
Internet 2) Protocol
3) Radio Frequency

Any of these types can use coaxial cables, category 5, or more commonly known as CAT5 cables, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6 cables or Cat7. What are the differences between them?

1) CAT-5 distributes video up to 100m.
2) CAT-5e 350m.
3) CAT-6 and Cat6 distributed video in 550 to 1000m
4) CAT-7 is evaluated from 700m to 1000m.

Viewing Video over CAT5 or Cat7

Video over CAT5 Cat7 or those delivered by cable television, telephone and data are distributed in the wiring closets similar. It offers videos that can run over a distance of 100 million euros for the CAT 5 or even up to 1000m Cat7. Video over CAT5 or Cat7 everything works on the same cabling system. The system is channeled in a passive broadband balun that converts any signal into a coaxial signal unevenly balanced through video across CAT5 or Cat7. Even when they are distributed on different channels at the same time, it will slow down the network because the signals Analog Air travel is not similar to that network, and not based on the bandwidth of video signals.

Currently, the use FTP or SFTP needs audio and video is common. Instead of using coaxial cable, CAT5 cable and Cat7 used. Coaxial is first installed in centers and the rest is distributed to the intermediate / UTP FTP. Cat7 video over CAT5 or if it is now possible for a limited cost. It is ease of installation and relocation is not a big problem. All one has to do is connect the network cables distribution center to patch panel and a single port converter connected to the TV.

Advantages of a system using CAT5 Video and Cat7

1) The Video CAT5 or Cat7 is profitable because it eliminates the need for additional coaxial cables.
Settings Video 2) via CAT5 or Cat7 is much easier than having multiple taps, splitter, amplifiers and multiplexers coaxial cable.
3) A high signal quality is maintained as a system of video distribution over CAT5 or video through the use of active centers Cat7 video RF. Provides for automatic adjustments in slope is maintained by both the quality of all video channels of the picture.
4) The distribution system Video CAT5 or Cat7 can be done in the voice and auxiliary signals simultaneously. There is no interference between voice and video data.
5) A system of video over CAT5 or Cat7 allows video streaming from your computer and is made possible through a system of video broadband.

The distribution of video over CAT5 and Cat7 is possible thanks to an RF broadband. Transmission cable television, HDTV, internally generated video, video on demand service, satellite and video over twisted pair cables CAT5 or Cat7.

Know the difference of how your video system will work. Systems working with video over CAT5 and systems running video over CAT7 will have their own advantages and disadvantages that you have to evaluate.

Is this a bad idea to use a balun 300 to 75 ohm dipole antenna in a 1 / 2 wavelength?

To connect the two halves left hand and right dipole with coax, I thought one of these antennas Square Baluns oldschool might be practical (because Two screws and a coaxial cable). But the only problem is that it's supposed to be a converter from 300 ohms to 75 ohms. So this is a bad idea to do this, since the half-wave is closer to 75 ohms?

Get rid of the FM antenna … You want anyway real frequency UHF antenna …. Keep it in your receiver.
