Wireless Weather Station: Why You Need A Wireless Weather Station

A wireless weather station has a multitude of uses.

The main reason people use a wireless weather station is for in their home.  You can put the weather device any where in your home that you want because it’s wireless.  Some of them can even be 80 ft. away from there bases.

Some of the wireless weather stations will predict the weather for you and have a 70% accuracy rate.  This can really help out when you are trying to plan your day.

The one’s that show the humidity level can be very useful.

Knowing the humidity level inside your home in the winter is a great thing.  If you keep your house around 40% then you will have a much healthier family.  Make sure you keep the device away from bathrooms and heating registers so you can get an accurate reading.  It makes knowing when to run your humidifier a breeze.

If you have a greenhouse the humidity indicator is wonderful because you will no longer have to guess at the humidity is that the optimal level for your plants to thrive.

Wireless Channel Modelling for Indoor Populated Environments $97.17 The recent development of indoor wireless local area network (WLAN) standards at 2.45 GHz and 5 GHz has led to increased interest in propagation studies at these frequency bands. Within the indoor environment, human body effects can strongly reduce the quality of wireless communication systems. Human body effects can cause temporal variations and shadowing due to pedestrian movement and antenna- body interaction with portable terminals. This book presents a statistical characterisation, based on measurements, of human body effects on indoor narrowband channels at 2.45 GHz and at 5.2 GHz. A novel cumulative distribution function (CDF) that models the 5 GHz narrowband channel in populated indoor environments is proposed. This novel CDF describes the received envelope in terms of pedestrian traffic. In addition, a novel channel model for the populated indoor environment is proposed for the Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) narrowband channel in presence of pedestrians at 2.45 GHz. Results suggest that practical MIMO systems must be sufficiently adaptive if they are to benefit from the capacity enhancement caused by pedestrian movement.
